UPPER LAKE — The Upper Lake High School cross country team is holding a mega-yard sale fundraiser and car wash on June 23-24 across Highway 20 from Running Creek Casino in Upper Lake. Yard sale and car wash hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Furniture, lamps, kitchen supplies, clothes, books, televisions, toys, sports equipment and more will be on sale.
If you would like to donate items please call coach John Woods at 972-2142 or send an email to ulcccoach@gmail.com and he will pick up your stuff. While the yard sale is going on, you can have that dusty car or truck washed.
Upper Lake cross country is raising funds to help pay for transportation costs and new equipment for the upcoming season. The team will travel extensively during the upcoming 2012 campaign, including Frogtown near Angel”s Camp, the Clam Beach Invite at McKinleyville and the Mount San Antonio College Invitational in Walnut.
Upper Lake cross country is open to boys and girls and there is no bench or second string. If you want to run, you”ll get the opportunity.
