LAKE COUNTY — American Cancer Society is offering the following free classes for Lake County during July.

“Look Good … Feel Better” will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Specialty Care & Surgery Center in Kelseyville. Specially trained, licensed cosmetologists will work with women to address changes because of treatment. Attendees will receive free products and advice in a supportive environment. Call 800-227-2345 to register.

Call-in support classes include:

? “I Can Cope: Managing Side Effects of Cancer and Treatment,” 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday;

? “I Can Cope: Nutrition During and After the Cancer Experience” (in Spanish), 10 a.m. to noon July 14;

? “I Can Cope: Managing Cancer-related Fatigue,” 10 a.m. to noon July 21; and

? “I Can Cope: Supporting Your Loved One and Yourself Throughout the Cancer Experience,” 10 a.m. to noon July 25.

Call-in support classes are designed to enhance knowledge and empower participants to live more effectively with cancer. They are intended for cancer patients and their caregivers only.
