NICE — Ceago Vinegarden is planning its eighth annual Lavender Harvest Celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature four food and wine pairing stations situated throughout the property and two bands will provide musical entertainment.
Special sales will take place all afternoon. Guests can stroll leisurely among the fragrant lavender fields, walk out on the pier to take in an expansive view of Clear Lake, sip wine under the 100-year-old olive trees or relax in the courtyard with friends.
The caba?a will be the first food and wine station where guests can taste several seafood delicacies paired with wine or a wine margarita.
The second station will take place under the bay trees and East Indian food will be highlighted, likely including lamb kabobs and other items. Paella will be the featured dish at the next station in the large mountain view courtyard.
An array of desserts will be found in the Pomo Room to round out the afternoon.
The Time Bandits, a band from the Bay Area, will perform. A selection of lavender products made from the lavender grown on the property will be for sale.
Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $55 per person.
