KELSEYVILLE — One person was transported to the hospital Monday following a three-car crash in downtown Kelseyville.
The crash occurred at 3:47 p.m. Monday, according to Officer Joe Wind of the California Highway Patrol.
Wind said Sandra Cutter, 36, of Kelseyville was driving a 1969 Toyota Landcruiser eastbound on Main Street. Eleuterio Becerra Perez, 71, of Kelseyville was also traveling eastbound on Main directly behind Cutter in a 2011 Toyota Corolla. Brenda Pelkey, 71, of Kelseyville was headed westbound on Main in a 1998 Chevrolet Prism.
Wind said Cutter attempted to make a left turn from Main onto Gunn Street and hit Pelkey”s car. Wind said Pelkey”s car continued forward and struck Perez”s car.
Wind said Pelkey was transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital by Kelseyville Fire Protection District ambulance on complaint of pain. The incident is still under investigation by the CHP.
