CLEARLAKE — Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific has announced the opening of its newly located health center at 14671 Olympic Drive in Clearlake.
The new, larger facility will allow Planned Parenthood to provide a full range of comprehensive reproductive health services including birth control, breast and cervical cancer screening, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing and emergency contraception, among other health services, including services for men.
“Our new health center is spacious and comfortable and was built-out to provide our clients the best possible care,” Heather Estes, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific, said. “We are pleased that with our new facility, we will be able to meet an increasing demand in Lake County for our essential health services.”
Overseeing the newly located health center is Anne Rubin, a health manager with more than 12 years” experience providing health care services.
“Lake County has been my home for a decade,” Rubin said. “I am thrilled to lead Planned Parenthood”s Clearlake health center and provide the confidential medical services all the people in our community can count on. We also look forward to working with the community leaders and other health care providers to ensure that all Lake County residents receive the health care they need to live healthy and productive lives.”
