UPPER LAKE — A youth football camp takes place July 24-26 at Upper Lake High School. Camp hours each of the three days of the camp are 9 a.m. to noon.
The camp introduces the basic fundamentals of football, including blocking, running, passing, receiving and kicking. Each camper will experience each of these elements of the game to either learn a new skill or enrich existing skills. Teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship will be common themes throughout the camp.
Registration forms are available at Upper Lake High School, Lyndall”s Sports Stop Grill in Kelseyville, and Lakeside Family Fun Center in Lakeport. Cost is $50 and payment is due by Thursday. Campers will receive a T-shirt and water bottle.
