COBB — It”s a 50th birthday bash for Adams Springs Golf Course on July 28.
The Jack Fleming-designed course on Cobb Mountain will celebrate the big 5-0 with a variety of activities, beginning with a 7:30 a.m. members-only tournament. A nine-hole tournament open to the public begins at 2 p.m. and the format is a four-man scramble. Only golf clubs of the 1960s are allowed.
There will be dinner, live music and dancing following play. The cost for nine holes of golf, dinner and the dance is $45. The dinner and dance only is $25. To make a tee time and reserve your dinner tickets, call Colleen at 928-9992. For more information regarding the event call 928-4131.
