LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Registrar of Voters Office announced the filing period for the November election begin Monday.
The following director positions will become vacant on Dec. 7 or until a successor is elected and qualifies for office:
– The Northshore Fire Protection District in the Clearlake Oaks Zones 1 and 2, for a four-year term, and Upper Lake Zones 1 and 2, for a four-year term.
– East Lake Resource Conservation District has two vacancies for four-year terms and two vacancies for two-year unexpired terms. Directors for this district are appointed by the Lake County Board of Supervisors.
– West Lake Resource Conservation District has three vacancies, all four-year terms.
-The Redbud health Care District has single vacancies in zones 1, 3 and 5, all four-year terms.
The following community college and school district positions will become vacant on Dec. 7 or until a successor is elected and qualifies for office:
– Yuba Community College District has a vacancy in the Trustee Area No. 7, vacancies in Konocti and Middletown unified school districts, vacancies in Colusa County”s Maxwell, Princeton and Williams unified school districts, and in Glenn County”s Stony Creek Joint Unified School District.
– The Konocti Unified School District has two vacancies for four-year terms.
– The Middletown Unified School District has two vacancies for four-year terms.
The filing period deadline is Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. Voters desiring information regarding filing for the elected offices above may contact the Registrar of Voters Office at 263-2372.
The Registrar of Voters Office is located on the second floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Room 209, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
