MAXWELL — The Sites Complex fire in Colusa County reached 60-percent containment, according to CAL FIRE, as of press time.
The fire burned 4,185 acres since Sunday. The cause is under investigation.
About 40 fire crews are battling the blaze, with a total of 1,339 personnel. Large amounts of equipment are being utilized, including 88 fire engines, 24 bulldozers and six helicopters.
Fire crews continue to create and improve fire lines, with ground personnel making significant progress on the fire perimeter, according to CAL FIRE.
Sites-Lodoga Road is closed from Sites to Lodoga until further notice.
