MAXWELL — The Sites Complex fire is 70-percent contained as fire crews Wednesday continue to work toward 100-percent containment.
The fire burned 4,185 acres since Sunday, according to CAL FIRE. Four minor injuries were reported overnight, though not specified. The fire has not burned any structures. The cause is under investigation.
A total of 1,275 personnel from 38 fire crews are battling the blaze, utilizing 78 fire engines, 24 bulldozers and five helicopters. An additional 12 cooperating agencies are assisting.
No evacuations are in place for area residents. Sites-Lodoga Road opened at noon Wednesday to residents only. Residents driving on the road are urged to use caution and watch for fire equipment in the area.
