COBB — The 19th annual Lake County Junior Golf Championship is Aug. 8 at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.
Sponsored by Clearlake Callayomi Masonic Lodge, Eddie and Linda Mullins, Jack and Sharon Lucich, the Hoberg family and John and Julie Berry, the tournament is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10-17. There are various flights based on age. Entry fee is $15 and includes golf, lunch, tee prizes and awards.
The deadline to enter is Aug. 4.
Entry forms are available at all golf course pro shops or can be acquired by calling John Berry at 279-0449.
Winners a year ago were Corey Huber (boys” champ), Wyatt Ferrell (16-17), Aaron Waldrop (14-15), Logan Barrick (12-13), Matt Wotherspoon (10-11) and Sophie Sells (girls” champ).
