LAKEPORT — The coed NorCal Lake County Basketball/Fun Camp takes place at the Lakeside Family Fun and Event Center in Lakeport July 30-Aug. 3.
Participants will learn basic-to-advanced basketball skills, including shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, fast break and team play.
Players will also learn 1-on-1 moves and offensive stations practiced by the Golden State Warriors. College and NBA youth-camp coaches will lead the clinic.
Boys and girls 6-17 years old of any skill level can participate.
Winners of daily contests will get prizes, and weekly awards will be given to free throw, 1-on-1 and Hot Shot champions. Every day, campers can play 3-on-3 or 5-on-5 games.
Campers can also play lazer tag, receive arcade tokens and get the chance to bowl.
The camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, with lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Campers should bring a lunch.
The cost is $100 per participant. A prorated price of $25 per day is also available.
