UKIAH — The Lake County SIRs had 32 players participate in an ABCD scramble last week at the Ukiah Municipal Golf Course.
The winning team consisted of Joe Whitbeck, Dick Matson, Jim Spero and Bobby Neal with a net score of 49.
Second place went to the team of Don Fehr, Billy Lyon, Jim Morrison and Len Landwehr with 54.
In third place was the team of Paul Bertram, John Jones, Bill Ferris and Tom Hughes also at 54 (card off).
In fourth place were Gary Farris, Ed Brooks Phil Tyler and Ralph Clayton with a net 56.
Closest to the hole honors went to Klark Raetz and Ken Hommer.
SIRs is a social club for retired and semi-retired men providing the opportunity for golf, bowling, travel, cards and other activities and includes a monthly lunch meeting for socializing.
