CLEARLAKE – Clearlake Police Department (CPD) is searching for a man
suspected of robbing Catfish Coffee House at gunpoint on Tuesday
morning. No vehicles were seen and the suspect”s last direction of
travel is unknown.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6-feet tall
with a slim build, light brown or reddish hair with a goatee and
mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie-type
sweatshirt. The alleged weapon was a black or grey, semi-automatic
handgun with a square-ended barrel with a checkered-pattern grip.
According to Sgt. Rodd Joseph, officers were requested at the coffees
house, located on the 14600 block of Lakeshore Drive at 7:10 a.m. The
coffee house attendant described the assailant and told officers he
demanded money.
The attendant complied with the suspect”s demands and was uninjured.
Joseph said the suspect left the business with an undisclosed amount
of cash.
Police are asking for the public”s assistance in identifying the
suspect. Anyone with information is urged to call the CPD at
