CLEARLAKE — The Lake County National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will host a 30th anniversary barbecue fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 11 in the rear parking lot of B&G Tire, located at 14988 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake. The public is invited.
Menu includes Texas-style barbecue ribs and chicken with all the fixings for $12. Combination plates cost $15.
The event includes raffle drawing for a charcoal grill, $50 gift certificates, gold tone bracelet, pedicure gift certificates and guitar gag-bag. Winners do not need to be present to win. Out-of-area winners must pay shipping charges; all other winners have three working days to claim prizes following the event before forfeit.
Music will be provided by “Without A Net.”
