The event features the 2007 wine releases from Snows Lake Vineyard with Bonnie Sears and artist reception with paintings by Judy Cardinale. LOWER LAKE ? The Lower Lake Historical School Preservation Committee will host its 19th annual Quilt and Textile Exhibition in Weaver Auditorium. The show is open during regular business hours, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

* Cobb Mountain Artists will hold the annual open studios tour to the public, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 11 and 12. * The Golden Follies return in a new performance at 7 p.m. Aug. 11 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Soper Reese Community Theatre, located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport. The event is free and includes a potluck picnic and folk music sing-along with Lake County musicians. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. No glass containers. Listeners are invited to come out to the theater or tune in via the radio or online via kpfz.org.
