UPPER LAKE — A parent/runner meeting for members of the Upper Lake High School cross country team takes place Aug. 13 beginning at 6 p.m. in Room 12 at Upper Lake High School.
Food and drinks will be served. The first official practice of the season follows at 7 p.m.
All runners need a sports physical, proof of medical insurance and a pair of running shoes. The team”s new uniforms will be on display at the meeting.
Boys and girls are welcome. If you have always wanted to participate in a sport but couldn”t find the right one, cross country may be for you. In addition to getting in the best shape of your life, you will travel to fun places.
