KELSEYVILLE — The Military Funeral Honors Team of Lake County and the Kelseyville Lions Club will co-host a pancake breakfast on Sunday from 8 to 11 a.m. The menu will feature pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee.
Breakfast is served at the Kelseyville Lions Club, located at 4335 Sylar Lane. The suggested donation is $7.
Proceeds will benefit the team, which has provided military honors at nearly 900 veteran funerals in Lake County.
The Military Funeral Honors Team incurs ongoing expenses that include uniforms, ammunition, weapons maintenance, as well as fuel and insurance for the team bus. The all volunteer team is comprised of veterans of all branches of the military and relies on fundraising and donations.
Team members volunteer time in training and providing honors for their fellow veterans.
