LAKE COUNTY — With multiple wildfires burning in northeastern Lake County and evacuations remaining in place, the Lake County Administrative Office provided information on resources affected residents can use.

To report an electrical outage or hazardous situation, call PG&E at 800-743-5002. PG&E cautions that any downed power line should be treated as a live wire.
The American Red Cross of Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties established shelter services for evacuees, including food, shelter and an on-site nurse, at the Highlands Senior Center, located at 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake. For information, call the Red Cross at 577-7601 or the senior center at 994-3051.
Lake County Animal Care and Control officers are assisting evacuated residents in retrieving their pets. Officers are escorting individual residents to their homes and back in an effort to rescue their animals. Volunteers are on-hand to assist owners in hauling horses out of the area and to other properties. These services are being coordinated on-site at the Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge, located on Highway 20 near the “Y.” To contact the Moose Lodge, call 998-3740.
