* Kickin” in the Country Street Dance takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Main Street in Kelseyville. The band is Twice as Good. The featured winery will be Moore Family Vineyards. The Kelseyville Business Association will sell beer and wine. There will be a raffle with prizes.

* A “Peace Meal and Hootenanny” will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lakeside County Park near Kelseyville. The event is free and includes a potluck picnic and folk music sing-along with Lake County musicians. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. No glass containers. * Lake County artist Lisa Kaplan will lead a class called “Drawing the Inside Out,” 2 to 5 p.m. at Into the Difference Studios in Hidden Valley Lake. Session includes a short thematic slide presentation followed by several short color exercises and a longer-duration “drawing the inside out” piece. All levels of art experience welcome. * Cheating Daylight performs at the Soper Reese Community Theatre, located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes guest performers K-Town, McKenna Faith and Matt Weiss. Special VIP sound check tickets are available at a cost of $22. These entitle ticket holders to early admission (4:30 p.m.), priority seat selection, sound check admission and an autograph session with band members. General admission costs $17. Tickets are available at the Travel Center in the Shoreline Shopping Center, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The program is staged at the theater before a live audience. Admission costs $5. The show is modeled after “A Prairie Home Companion,” with live local music, comedy, skits and surprises. Listeners are invited to come out to the theater or tune in via the radio or online via kpfz.org.
