KELSEYVILLE — The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) will hold its meeting today at a special time and location.
It will convene at 6 p.m. in the Kelseyville High School student center for a public hearing on whether to extend the county”s temporary medical marijuana cultivation regulations. The hearing will not be televised.
The supervisors met at the Lake County Fairgrounds in July when they adopted the interim ordinance because their normal meeting space at the Lake County Courthouse was deemed too small.
The public hearing about the public, educational and governmental access television station, which was originally scheduled for 4:15 p.m. today, was carried over to Aug. 28. BOS Chair Rob Brown said he would arrive about 4 p.m. to inform people of the continuance.
The BOS will also consider a seven-item consent agenda and several non-timed items, including whether to declare a local emergency because of the wildfires in eastern Lake County.
