In response to Phil Hudson”s letter, “Fixing the Gun Problem” I must say I like his reality-based evidence better than my academic speculations. His was the very kind of information I wanted, but not having learned how to use a computer, I didn”t know how to get it. Reading his letter has been a formative experience for me (all experience is formative) and what his letter will form me to do is learn to use a computer.
The only demurral I feel regarding Hudson”s letter is a slight one. I would like to learn what effect, if any, the passing of a law some years ago allowing people to carry guns in Texas has had on crimes involving guns in that state. Thank you, Phil Hudson; and carry on, Darrell Davis.
