FORT BRAGG — The defense was solid in all four games and the offense did enough to win three of them Friday and Saturday as the Clear Lake High School varsity girls” soccer team posted a 3-1 record at the Abalone Cup in Fort Bragg.
After splitting 1-0 decisions on Friday — a win over Fort Bragg and a loss to Cloverdale — the Cardinals came back Saturday to beat Willits 2-1 and St. Bernard (Eureka) 4-0.
