LAKEPORT — Lake County artist Pat Skoog is helping to sponsor the Lakeport Senior Activity Center”s golf tournament at Rob Roy Golf Club on Sept. 15.
Skoog”s painting of “Golfing on The Green” will be a raffle prize during the tournament and there are also 10 numbered prints for sale.
The winner of the original painting will be painted into the picture. People who purchase a print will also be painted into the picture in their favorite golfing position. Proceeds benefit Meals-On-Wheels.
Skoog has been a volunteer at the center for more than 10 years and has worked on various committees and fundraisers. Skoog has also served on the board of directors.
Before coming to Lakeport Skoog was involved in the Art League in Ridgecrest and served as its president for two years. Skoog has sold her paintings in Viet Nam, Israel, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, New York, Arizona, Southern California and Lake County.
Skoog is displaying many of her works at the Lakeport Senior Activity Center, with 40 percent of all sales being donated to the Meals on Wheels program.
