If you really haven”t decided on whom to vote for in this Presidential election, consider this.

Pick a number, any number: percentage of unemployment in the U.S., amount of the national debt, value of your home, number of people on food stamps, disability or unemployment, the price of a gallon of gas.

What was that number in 2008? What is that number today? Do the math. Go ahead, do the math, it”s third grade math. Now, think about that, none of the sums of those math problems are better now than in 2008. We are on the wrong road.

We all have a choice this election, it is between President Barack Obama, a charismatic cool guy who is an inspiring orator and debater. He is popular on talk shows and sings great jazz tunes. His opponent, Governor Mitt Romney is not so “cool.” He is more reserved, reluctant to let his hair down, stiff; well, kind of like Ward Cleaver on the old TV series Leave it to Beaver. But now think about that,

Ward Cleaver quietly provided everything needed for the family, food on the table, money in the bank and prosperity for the future. When there were problems, Ward Cleaver, without any flash, made the hard decisions, provided leadership, put his plan in place and solved the problem; not to get any credit, but to produce results.

We”ve had the cool guy for almost four years and that third grade math exercise will tell you how that is working. That is why I am voting for Mitt Romney, the Ward Cleaver guy whose record is about making plans, putting them into action and solving the problems. No flash, no spin, just getting to work to fix the problems and get results. Mitt Romney is today”s Ward Cleaver and he”s got my vote.
