UKIAH — The Kelseyville Knights won the first game before the Ukiah Wildcats battled back for a 23-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-15 victory in a non-league varsity volleyball match Wednesday evening in Ukiah.
“They played a lot better than they did against Healdsburg,” Kelseyville coach Donelle McCallister said of only her team”s second match of the season.
Team leaders for the Knights (0-2) were Jennifer Green with 11 kills, Alex Pruett with three blocks, Jeannie Johnson with three aces and Mary McCallister with 17 digs.
“Abby McQueen was our top passer,” McAllister added.
Ukiah won the junior varsity match in three games, 25-7, 20-25, 15-9.
