LAKEPORT — A man lost a finger, broke teeth and suffered numerous other injuries after a collision Tuesday at 3:40 p.m.

Cameron Miller, 25, of Forestville was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle that belonged to Roy Fields of Lakeport.

Miller was traveling northbound on Lakeshore Boulevard near Alterra Drive in Lakeport when he, for unknown reasons, crossed over the double-yellow lines and collided with Danielle McCarty, 28, of Clearlake.

McCarty was traveling southbound in a 2000 BMW 750, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) Public Information Officer Kory Reynolds.

Miller was transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital. His injuries included cuts and scrapes to his upper body, pain to his head, chest and legs, severed finger and broken teeth.

Reynolds said drugs and alcohol were not considered a factor in the collision.

The incident is under investigation by the CHP.
