UPDATED:

I am always awestruck by the oratorical skills of our President. I believe he will be remembered for many years as being very loquacious.

He provided a steady hand at the helm of our ship. He changed course from 7.8 percent unemployment to a 40-month direction of 8.3 percent unemployment. Aye, aye sir “steady as she goes.”

Ah, we all appreciate a President who is pragmatic, flexible. At the Nuclear Security Summit I heard that he whispered to then-Russian President Medvedev “After my election, I can be more flexible.” The Russian president said he would be sure to relay that message to Vladimir Putin.

Now we all know that many discussions and negotiations are held behind closed doors, but just how much of the farm is he planning on giving away?

He told us he opened more areas for drilling oil and gas. Those released were on state and private land approved under the previous administration. If he is opening more areas now, why didn”t he do that in February 2009?

He stated in 2008, that he would hire more teachers. Well now it”s math and science teachers. Very laudable indeed.

We need to know more arithmetic. Let me see, he was given $10 trillion in debt and we now have $16 trillion, what does that add up to?

He stated in his stimulus package that many of the jobs he hoped for were not shovel ready as he thought they were.

Now he wants us to give him a bigger shovel to dig a deeper hole?

Sorry Mr. President, I am not going to reheat your latte. As the saying goes, “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
