LAKE COUNTY — There will be a memorial service for Eva Scott at the Mountain Vista Middle School Gymnasium on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m.
Scott was a history and math teacher at Mountain Vista who died in August following a four-year battle with breast cancer. Coworkers described her as a popular teacher who was active on campus. She helped coordinate and participated in the annual Washington D.C. trip. She also coached girls” volleyball and girls” basketball at Mountain Vista. The memorial service is open to the public. Mountain Vista Middle School is located at 5081 Konocti Road in Kelseyville, one mile east of Kelseyville High School.
