LAKE COUNTY — Fire officials lifted the evacuation warning that had been in place for portions of Scotts Valley Road because of the Scotts Fire.
The potential threat to the Blue Lakes and Scotts Valley Road areas was reduced, CAL FIRE reported Monday afternoon.
The blaze, which started early Friday afternoon west of Scotts Valley Road on Cow Mountain, reached 4,618 acres and was 15 percent contained as of Monday morning.
