FORT BRAGG — Playing their second North Central League I game in as many days, the Lower Lake Trojans dropped a 5-1 decision to Fort Bragg in varsity boys” soccer action Wednesday in Fort Bragg.
Lower Lake (1-1, 2-1-1) actually took a 1-0 lead five minutes into the game on a Diego Villalobos goal. Fort Bragg pulled even midway through the first half and went ahead 2-1 in the final minutes of the half.
The second half belonged to the Timberwolves, who scored three more times.
“We played too much on our heels and kind of ran out of gas,” Lower Lake coach Dan Griffin said. “They found some holes in our defense.”
Lower Lake returns to action Tuesday at St. Helena.
