CLEARLAKE — A woman was arrested and 56.7 grams of methamphetamine were seized Tuesday night following the service of a search warrant by the Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO) Narcotics Task Force.

Narcotics detectives secured a search warrant Monday for the person, home and vehicle of Christin Jean Kukar, 31, of Clearlake, according to LCSO Public Information Officer Sgt. Steve Brooks.

Brooks stated narcotics detectives conducted an enforcement stop of Kukar”s vehicle Tuesday about 9 p.m. on Highway 20 near Clearlake Oaks and served the search warrant on Kukar and her vehicle.

Brooks stated Kukah, Brandie Lea Meyer, 26, of Clearlake Oaks and a 14-year-old were occupants in the vehicle.

Kukar allegedly admitted to possessing methamphetamine and reportedly removed about 56.7 grams of methamphetamine from inside her pants, according to Brooks.

Brooks stated the street value of the methamphetamine is approximately $6,000.

Meyer and the minor, who were detained at the time of the enforcement stop, were later released, Brooks stated.

Shortly after the enforcement stop, detectives served the search warrant on Kukar”s 35th Avenue home in Clearlake. Brooks stated detectives did not locate additional contraband.

Kukar was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance. She was transported and booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
