Open-minded?
Sometime back I was reading a gentleman”s letter to the editor about the fact that he was riding his bicycle in Lakeport and he went by a house and discovered that they had three SUV type vehicles and he was saying that specifically these were the kind of vehicles that basically pollute our world.
I understand what he was saying but it is not only these type of vehicles. This gentleman has positive thinking of what he believes. If I were riding a bicycle and passed a house that had three SUV type of vehicles, I would think that person has a good job or some sort of retirement that pays a lot of money; I would have thought how lucky he is to be able to afford these vehicles, because of the gas and the license fees that this owner pays for the roads that I am riding my bicycle on. This is the reason I have a paved street to ride my bicycle on versus a gravel road, if it weren”t for people like him.
I am sorry that we can”t all own SUV”s. I also appreciate the paved road being there for us to ride our bicycles on. Just a thought.
