I”ve been reading all the controversy over GMO products. Almost everything you eat today is genetically-altered.

Take tomatoes, first found in South America. They started out with six varieties according to scientists. Now there are more than 7,500 varieties, all genetically-modified (getting rid of bad genes and promoting the good genes).

Luther Burbank spent his whole life doing gene manipulation and is credited with developing more than 100 varieties that are in widespread use today, including the russet potato used by McDonald”s for its french fries.

Big agri-business does the same thing like Monsanto, etc.

That”s what feeds the world, folks. So do me a favor and get off the good guy (Luther Burbank), bad guy (large corporations, i.e. Monsanto) bashing.

You are being led a stray like Chicken Little with “The Sky is Falling.”

And if you think Proposition 37 is the cat”s meow, you didn”t read the piece printed in the Record-Bee about the attorney who wrote it and how flawed and ripe for frivolous lawsuits it really is.

This attorney wrote another proposition and it is reported he made $3 million-plus off of lawsuits.

Now we have to make a decision, a flawed law written by an attorney or something that truly represents the people and the law.

The Internet is full of kook websites and full of real honest information. You have to use your brain and dismiss the kooks and the self-serving lawyers.
