KELSEYVILLE — A pancake breakfast hosted by the Kelseyville Volunteer Fireman”s Association takes place on Saturday during the Kelseyville Pear Festival.
Breakfast will be served between 7 and 10 a.m. at the main station, 4020 Main St., Kelseyville. Included in the cost of a $6 ticket are pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and orange juice.
Proceeds from this event benefit the community. Each year the Fireman”s Association gives scholarships to Lake County high school students who are pursuing a career in firefighting, paramedics or other related areas.
This year”s proceeds will also facilitate the purchase of new equipment that will increase the effectiveness of fighting fires on rugged, steep terrain.
