LAKE COUNTY — Emergency personnel airlifted a Lower Lake woman to Santa Rosa after she drove off Highway 175 Cobb and struck a tree Thursday night.
Jennifer Dietrick, 27, was driving her 1992 Honda Prelude eastbound on the highway just after 8 p.m. when she lost control of the car, which went across the opposite lane, left the roadway and hit a tree, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Kory Reynolds stated.
Dietrick was flown by REACH to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with possibly fractured ankles and shoulder pain, Reynolds added.
Authorities arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident remains under investigation by CHP Officer Ryan Erickson.
