LOWER LAKE — County and state fire agencies will conduct a live training and controlled burn with California State Parks Tuesday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park.
A similar training took place at the Lower Lake historic park one week ago.
Grass and light brush will burn. People may see or smell smoke from Lower Lake, Clear Lake and areas around the lake.
State Parks conducts live fire training periodically to control invasive plant species, reduce fuels, assess hazards, maintain fuel breaks and enhance coordination among local and state agencies.
