CLEAR LAKE RIVIERA — The Fall Farm to Table benefit dinner that will be held Saturday at the Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum is sold out.

The event was planned to help the museum with the purchase price of the recently acquired stagecoach that will be on display.

Seating was limited to 20 people.

The docents and volunteers at the museum partnered with Wildhurst Vineyards to present the dinner, which includes a six-course gourmet dinner prepared by Chic le Chef, with each course paired with a Wildhurst wine.

The event will have live music and a storyteller will speak about the history of the stage stop, the people closely related to it – including the storied thieves who were known as “highwaymen” – and the areas of Lake County it served.

Though the event is sold out, the stagecoach can be viewed during regular museum hours.

The Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum, located at 9921 Highway 281 (Soda Bay Road), is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
