LAKEPORT — On Saturday a fundraising event will be held at the Clearlake Club in Lakeport to assist owners of Penny Lane, the Main Street business that recently caught fire.
The fundraiser will consist of raffle sales and a barbecue dinner. All proceeds will go directly to Penny Lane to help re-open its doors.
Business owners and residents are being asked to donate food, paper products and raffle prizes for this event.
Suggested donations for the barbecue dinner include meat, macaroni or potato salad, green salad, rolls, desserts and paper products to feed an estimated 160 people. Catering services would be welcomed. Raffle prizes are also needed. For more information call 349-6000.
Clearlake Club will also accept cash donations that will go directly to Penny Lane. Checks can be made out to Penny Lane.
