If the lake bottom is under control of the state, where is leadership in Sacramento in gaining at least some funds for bringing back our lake to what it used to be. The problem is polluting our air quality that is some of the best in this nation. How about Yolo county? It too uses the water of our lake for its own interests. I am sure that there are federal funds available to the county in fighting this issue and it would be a good investment for the county to hire grant writers to apply for grants to help fund the battle. The algae issue effects our population as well as visitors and needs to be on the front burner until resolved. The same goes for the mussel issues.
