The fire destroyed one residence, seven outbuildings, 11 vehicles and 12 pieces of equipment ranging from a road grader to a riding lawn mower. No injuries were reported.
About 10 acres of vineyards in the Murphy Springs Ridge area were damaged or impacted.
Sommerfield said 100 acres of vineyards were saved because of “the aggressive efforts of first responders.”
