LAKEPORT — The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) will consider a proposed lease agreement between the county and Marymount College for the creation of a college campus at the Lucerne Hotel at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The regular BOS meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.
The supervisors will present a proclamation at 9:10 a.m. designating Monday through Oct. 30 as Red Ribbon Week.
A second BOS decree, commending Charles Villines for his years of county service, will take place at 9:15 a.m.
Among non-timed items will be the proposed acquisition of surplus SolarBee units for algae abatement efforts in Soda Bay, a proposed resolution supporting legislation allowing law enforcement to conduct traffic stops on vehicles carrying irrigation equipment on public lands and a discussion on approving the formation of Zone R (Chippewa South).
