COBB — A Cobb man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after reportedly injuring another driver in a collision on Bottle Rock Road late Saturday night.
David William Mettler, 31, was booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility Sunday morning.
Mettler was driving his 2000 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on the road at an unknown speed about 11 p.m. Saturday when he allowed the truck to cross the double-yellow lines and sideswipe a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, California Highway Patrol officer Kory Reynolds stated.
Cobb resident Andrew Chinnock, 33, was driving the SUV and complained of head, neck, back and wrist pain after the crash, Reynolds added. He was transported to St. Helena Hospital, Clear Lake.
Mettler was uninjured.
