LAKEPORT — Mediators and supporters of Lake County Mediations recently met to recognize outstanding service provided to the organization and community by its mediators and board members.
Award recipients during the event were:
Founder”s Award —
Recently retired executive board member Catherine Elias-Jermany received her award in recognition of her vision and contribution to the establishment of Lake County Mediations and for 20 years of board leadership.
Attorney Andy Rossoff received the award in recognition of his vision and contributions to the organization and for providing 20 years of in-kind legal counsel.
Mediator Awards —
Philip Twichel serves on the executive board, has performed more than 50 hours of Superior Court mediation services this year and has provided in-kind web-master service to the organization as well as mediator training.
David Brown performed more than 50 hours of Superior Court mediation services so far this year.
Gladys Rosehill serves on the executive board and provided more than 50 hours of Superior Court mediation services so far this year.
Elizabeth Fitzgerald Taylor serves on the executive board and provided more than 50 hours of Superior Court mediation services so far this year.
Leadership Awards —
Glenn Trumbull received the recognition for more than 15 years of service on the executive board and for providing dispute-resolution services to the community.
Bill Koehler was recognized for 15 years of service as an executive board member and as past president of the organization as well as for providing dispute-resolution and election-monitoring services for the organization.
Terry Dereniuk was recognized for her service on the executive board and for her leadership contributions to the organizational development of Lake County Mediations.
Attorney Mary Heare Amodio was recognized for her executive leadership and for providing in-kind dispute-resolution services for Lake County Mediations at the court and in community mediation.
