LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Senior Activity Center will host “Garden Art Works!” an activity that will be available at the senior center, located 527 Konocti Blvd. in Lakeport, on Nov. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch and to wear their older clothes or an apron so they don”t ruin good clothing.
Participants will decorate stepping stones and spheres of varying sizes to use as a feature to their landscape. The cost of the workshop includes all materials and accent pieces. The cost of the workshop is $25 for people 62 or older and $35 for all other ages. A discount is available for those who wish to make more than one art feature at the workshop.
The workshop is open to all age groups.
A portion of the proceeds from the workshop will go towards the Meals-On-Wheels program.
