LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Library will present two free needlework programs for the public in November.

The first program features beginning crochet and takes place on Nov. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The class will make crocheted book marks under the direction of Joanne Morgan. No experience is necessary and all supplies will be provided.

On Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. Barbara Swanson will teach an intermediate to advanced class in sock knitting. Attendees will need to bring the following supplies for the class: a pair of size 2, 16-inch circular knitting needles and two skeins of sock yarn in any color.

Helpful items to bring are small scissors, a small crochet hook, pencil and paper. The library will also have the supply list available.
