CLEARLAKE — A woman was arrested on charges of burglary, terrorist threats and child endangerment after causing a disturbance on Nov. 19.
Clearlake Police Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Manchester Avenue for a report of an intoxicated female at about 9:30 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene and contacted Rebecca Bruster,32. Bruster reported her roommate, Monique Bird, 35, assaulted her at their residence on Manchester Avenue during a verbal argument, according to Sergeant Dominic Ramirez.
Bruster claimed Bird had a butcher knife, approximately 5 inches long, in her hand while threatening Bruster”s life, according to Ramirez.
Bruster also alleged Bird assaulted her two children as well, Ramirez said.
Bruster and her children allegedly then fled and ran to a friend”s home also located on Manchester Avenue, according to Ramirez.
Bird followed them but was not allowed into the home. She then allegedly forced open the door, causing damage to the frame, and entered into the residence where she continued to threaten Bruster”s life while striking the locked door to the bedroom where Bruster and her children were hiding, according to Ramirez.
Bird was booked into the Lake County Jail where she is being held on $50,000 bail.?
