CLEARLAKE — Officers of the Clearlake Police Department arrested a man on charges of felony terrorist threats, felony resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a deadly weapon and brandishing.? The man was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine

CPD officers were dispatched to 16132 19th Ave. Nov. 26 at 8 a.m. after Andew Armijo, 42, called and said his roommate, Robert Grant, 35, brandished two knives at him during an argument, according to CHP Sergeant Dominic Ramirez.

Armijo then fled and officers met him one block away from the address, according to Ramirez.

Officers went to Grant”s home to arrest him for the felony violations he was reported to have committed. When officers arrived at the home, Grant allegedly opened the door, yelled obscenities at the officers, then closed the door and went inside, according to Ramirez.

Officers allegedly gave verbal commands for him to exit, but he refused and continued to yell at police officers from inside the home, Ramirez said.

Officers then allegedly forced entry into the home, at which point Grant fled out a window, according to Ramirez?

Grant was allegedly in the backyard of the home armed with a 13-inch brass knuckle knife and a 12-inch meat clever in his hands, according to Ramirez,

He faced officers, took a fighting stance, and was given numerous verbal commands to drop the weapons. Grant refused to comply at which time two of the four officers in the backyard tased Grant, after which he dropped his weapons.?

Grant was booked into the Lake County Jail where he is being held on $15,000 bail.?
