LAKE COUNTY — Lake County merchants, along with the U.S. Marine Corps are collecting toys for the Toys For Tots program. Collection boxes are in place at Lake County businesses. A
All toys collected stay in Lake County and will be distributed on Dec. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the former Lake Family Resource Center building at 896 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport.
Parents and guardians who need toys for their children for Christmas must show one of the following: child”s medical card, Social Services passport to services or a copy of the child”s birth certificate. No pre-sign up is necessary. Toys will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
