CLEARLAKE — City police confirmed that an unknown male entered Ray”s Food Place in Clearlake about 7:30 a.m. Sunday and committed an armed robbery.
The suspect, who wore camouflage clothing and a ski mask, fired off a couple rounds with a .22 rifle and took cash and other items from the Dam Road store before getting into an unknown type of vehicle and leaving the scene, according to a Clearlake Police public information officer.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
